4-H Member & Volunteer Resources

Youth Member Resources

Explore your passions with your 4-H project!

4-H project work allows you to learn more about topics that spark your interest—from STEM to Citizenship to Healthy Living. Keeping a record book or project report helps you track your progress and reflect on your achievements. Start at the beginning of the 4-H year by setting goals, then be sure to keep track of all your learning and hands-on activities. Completing these records is a key part of the 4-H experience and can lead to special awards!

Hard work and dedication are celebrated through awards, scholarships, and special recognition at the county and state levels! The 4-H Standards of Excellence recognition is based on how closely each member's performance matches the highest standard of 4-H engagement, not the performances of other youth.
